Registration step by step

You can apply for RCCI membership either as an individual – especially if you don't yet have a Business Registration Number (BRN) or wish to personally support the Chamber's initiatives – or as a representative of a business entity you own, manage, or represent.

Becoming a member of RCCI is easy and is completed in three straightforward registration steps explained below:

Registration for personal membership

Step 1 – Personal Details

The initial step is the same for both personal and corporate memberships. You'll need to provide your title, first name, last name, email address, and mobile number.

You will also need to create and confirm a password. Please note that your password must be 8 characters long and include at least one upper case letter and one digit.

To complete the first step you select whether you apply for personal or for corporate membership. The input required for the next page will depend on your selection. Here you choose “Personal membership”.

Step 2 – Additional Information

For personal membership applicants, please specify your island or country of residence in this step. Additionally, if you have a Facebook page or LinkedIn account, kindly share these to facilitate networking with fellow members.

Finally, please explain your motivation to join the Rodrigues Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Step 3 – Fees and commitments

In the final stage, you'll determine the criteria for calculating your membership dues and affirm your commitment to RCCI's values and mission.

The fee structure of personal membership is composed of a monthly membership fee, an initial entrance fee, or an optional one-time support membership fee in lieu of the entrance fee. See the numbers below.

Monthly fees are payable for a minimum of six months. Opting for annual payment qualifies you for a 5% early payment discount.

A start-up and mentorship discount of 50% of the first year’s fees applies if at the time of this RCCI membership application you submit a start-up support or a mentorship application. Learn more about RCCI’s start-up support and mentorship agreements.

Support contributions allow you to make a special one-time donation in lieu of the entrance fee and obtain a special membership status recognising your support and commitment to the RCCI.

As you make the different selections, the system will calculate your total dues and the details of the calculation are displayed for your information.

Acceptance notification and payment link

By checking the acknowledgment box, you agree to settle the calculated dues within ten days of receiving approval notification from RCCI’s Managing Council. Additionally, by ticking the appropriate checkboxes, you agree to abide by RCCI’s Constitution and By-laws and acknowledge that you have reviewed and approved RCCI’s Code of Conduct and Privacy Policy.

Processing your application usually takes less than a month. Upon approval, you will receive the payment link/payment instructions to proceed with your online or mobile remittance.
